GIVING

We have made it as easy as possible for you to give online to Cornerstone. No long "Giving Forms" to fill out. You don't have to register. You could literally give a donation in under 3 minutes. Click on the "give now" button to start the giving process or read below for more info.

Financial giving to Cornerstone can generally be divided into two categories: tithes and offerings. The Bible teaches us that we worship the Lord with our tithe, which is ten percent of our income contributed to the church on a regular basis. When we feel called to give over and above our tithe, we do so as an offering. When you choose to give an offering and would like to direct it to a specific area, you can select any of those listed below.

General Offering

Offerings marked for general usage are applied where they are needed most. Determinations are made after prayerful consideration by church leadership.

Building Fund

The Building Fund is dedicated to on-going enhancements and modernizations of our church facilities.

Missions

By giving to our Missions fund, you are helping us reach more people with the message of Christ.

Compassion and Justice

Our Compassion and Justice ministry is an evangelistic effort aimed at providing for the immediate physical needs / relief (food, clothing, emergency funds, advocacy, etc.) of unchurched families and individuals in crisis situations.

Benevolence

At Cornerstone we are committed to helping those who are in need. We currently collect a special Benevolence offering every first Sunday of the month in order to help those in need.

How secure is PayPal?

The PayPal site is highly secure. They use industry-leading technology (such as SSL) to keep your information safe.

PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Before you even register or log in to the PayPal site, our server checks that you're using an approved browser - one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher.

Once your information reaches the PayPal site, it resides on a server that is heavily guarded both physically and electronically. PayPal servers sit behind an electronic firewall and are not directly connected to the internet, so your private information is available only to authorized computers.

What Makes the PayPal Site So Secure?

  • Technology
Our state-of-the-art fraud models and proprietary fraud engine work together to help stop fraudulent transactions before they happen. In addition, PayPal stays at the forefront of security, developing many anti-fraud technologies every year.

  • Experience
With PayPal, you've got the industry's most experienced fraud team on your side. PayPal processes billions of dollars in payments each year, allowing us to continually perfect our anti-fraud protections. As a result, PayPal's loss rate is significantly lower than the industry average. We also work with federal law enforcement to catch criminals.

  • Privacy
PayPal is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. When you send or request money using PayPal, recipients never see your bank account numbers or credit card numbers. They only see your email address, date of sign-up, and whether or not you have completed PayPal's Verification process.

Do I need a PayPal account to give?

No, you just need a major credit card like Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover. If you have a PayPal account you can login and pay with your PayPal balance or bank account. When you are first directed to Paypal you will see the form to pay with a credit card.
